AHHHH! Bliss!!! Surrounded by books.!!!!

So, Karen and I have spent the past 2 days at school leveling our wonderfully-huge classroom library. I cannot believe the amount of books these kiddos will be able to choose from this year! There are so many!!!!!! :) I also just set up my kidblog account for Reading Workshop; I cannot wait to blog with my students about their thoughts! It’s going to be a readalicious year!

...and so it begins!!!!

Welcome to our 5th grade class! It is almost August, so school is literally right around the corner. And as much as I enjoy my summer, when August comes, I stop feeling so guilty about all the time I’ve spent thinking about all the things I want to do with my class., and I get down to WORK!

I’m so excited for this school year! I have tons of new ideas, and I can’t wait to give them a try!
